RE: Training Programme

Information provided with applications is only used by the College and the Training Programme for the purposes of selecting Trainees.

For applicants accepted into the Training Programme, application information is retained until the Trainee is granted Fellowship of the College. Information relating to Trainees is accessed by the National and Regional Directors of Training, the auditor, Officers of the College and Training Programme and, if the need arises, a legal advisor. Once training commences, the name of each Trainee is also supplied to the Clinical Training Agency for funding purposes.

For applicants not accepted into the Training Programme, some information may be retained by the College (such as the topic of the public health essay submitted) for a period of time.

No information submitted will be disclosed to parties other than those identified above. Applicants may request access to their information held by the College or the Training Programme, and may identify corrections where that information is incorrect.
