WELLINGTON Marmot Symposium - Health Equity and the Social Determinants of Health PODCASTS
Last month’s symposia on health equity and the social determinants of health, held in Wellington and Auckland conducted by Sir Michael Marmot.
The symposium was jointly hosted by the NZMA and the University of Otago. The symposia aimed to increase the focus on health equity among policy makers, professional groups, and the public and to learn about ‘what works’ from the extensive research undertaken to date. The keynote speaker was Professor Sir Michael Marmot, a leading researcher and advocate on health inequities.
